In recent years Portugal has been very successful at marketing itself as a perfect location for start-ups to base themselves, but a statistic that is often quoted is that approximately 90% of start-ups fail within their first three years (not just in Portugal).
 The theme debated was “What can Portugal do to improve the survival rate of Start-Ups?” With this in mind was selected a diverse group to represent various perspectives around this subject, including: Start-Ups at differing stages of their evolution; venture capital companies; incubators/accelerators, investors, management mentors, co-working space operators, legal advisors and representatives from the Portuguese government department responsible for attracting British investors in the wake of Brexit, PORTUGAL IN.
